Let Me Ask You A Question
If eating oatmeal daily can lower your cholesterol... would you?
Most people would. I did. My mom did. We all heard the same thing: Oats are heart-healthy. Oats lower cholesterol. Oats are good for you. So we ate more oats. And then we found out the rest of the story.
WHAT WE LEARNT
We Thought Oats Were Healthy, We Were Only Half-Right
Oats contain beta-glucan, the soluble fibre behind many of its health benefits. But beta-glucan is only a small part of the oat. The rest is largely starch, which can raise blood sugar and can be harder for people with diabetes, like my mom, to manage.
WHAT'S IN AN OAT?
Oat Beta-Glucan
- Soluble Fibre
- Small Part of the Oat
- Helps Lower Cholesterol
Starch
- Carbohydrate
- Makes Up Most of the Oat
- Can Raise Blood Sugar
HOW NUTRIUNE STARTED
We Found An Answer. So We Made It For Everyone
Discovering Oat Beta-Glucan
A supplier had told me years ago that beta-glucan could be extracted from oats, leaving the starch behind. At the time, I didn’t think much of it.
Facing Personal Health Challenges
I had high cholesterol, and my mom has diabetes. We both tried eating healthier and added oats to our diets, but my cholesterol did not lower much and her blood sugar would spike after eating oatmeal.
Creating My Own Formula
I went back to the supplier, sourced the beta-glucan, and combined it with two other ingredients to create a formula that my mum and I could try for ourselves.
Putting It to the Test
I tried it first, then my mom. After 31 days, my cholesterol came down and her blood sugar stayed steadier after meals. She no longer had to worry after every meal.
A Solution Worth Sharing
It started as something for our family, but when we realised others faced similar challenges, we decided to build Nutriune and make the formula available to them too.
TESTIMONIALS
It Helped My Own Family
My sister decided to try Nutriune only after attempting intermittent fasting. Not only did her LDL cholesterol fail to drop; it actually rose from 4.07 to 4.67 mmol/L. Nutriune seemed like her last option short of starting medication.

Her LDL had rose from 4.07 to 4.67 mmol/L despite three months of intermittent fasting. She then tried two sachets of Nutriune daily and after 30 days, her cholesterol dropped from 4.67 to 3.16mmol/l

And She Wasn't The Only One

Here are some of their experiences.
AN HONEST NOTE
We Don’t Want To Sell You A Miracle

We’re sharing this because we don’t want to sell you a miracle. We want to share what actually works, for the people it works for.

CONCLUSION
The Thing About Oats
Oats aren’t bad. They’re just not the whole answer. The benefits are real. But so is the starch. And if you’re watching your sugar, you can’t ignore one half of the story just because the other half is nice to hear.
We made Nutriune for people who want the benefits of oats without the part that spikes your blood sugar. If that’s you, come have a look.
